Done! I am not only online, but also hosting my first blog (which happens to be the first blog I have ever visited, actually...) – Yeah, you rightly identified me as real computer nerd – not.

@Anne, for programming the website, many brilliant design ideas and last but not least her recommendation of Blogspot!!! Let’s drink to that, when you are back to Mainz!
@Chamber of Industry and Commerce Rheinhessen, for their professional consultancy for my startup business
@my flat mates, for their regular cooking, mobile phone support and indirectly declared willingness to cover up for my part of the rent, in case something goes wrong with my new business (I did get that right, did I not? ;-) Oh, and yes, I will eventually clear the dishwasher again...
@Timo, for his tireless efforts to capture a perfect picture showing me in the teroir of Mittelrhein – in vain, DJ Michael had done too good a job the night before

I will try to edit all texts in both English and German, at least whenever possible and whenever it makes sense. Please bear with me whenever the entries are in German only (for restricted time or other reasons), you may challenge your own language skills at these (hopefully rare) occasions or send me a reprehending, but interested email asking for subsequent translation.
The first entries will review a few of the events I attended during last weeks London Wine Fair No photos of those, I am afraid, for which I do not only apologize, but also kick myself (they were all sitting right in front of me)!!! Well, my technical competence keeps growing each and every day, so pics likely to come along with new entries shortly!)

Geschafft! Endlich online, noch dazu mit meinem ersten Blog (welcher im Übrigen identisch ist mit dem ersten Blog, den ich je besucht habe...) – Ja, ihr merkt schon, hier ist eine wahre Computerexpertin zugange!

@WG, fürs Bekochen, Handysupport und indirekt erklärte Bereitschaft, meine anteilige Miete mit zu übernehmen, sollte bei der Existenzgründung irgendwas schiefgehen (das habe ich doch so richtig verstanden, oder? ;-) Und ja, in Zukunft werde ich auch mal wieder die Spülmaschine ausräumen, versprochen...

Ich werde versuchen, die Texte - so weit es geht und Sinn macht - sowohl auf Deutsch als auch auf Englisch einzustellen. Wo immer das aus zeitlichen oder sonstigen Gründen nicht gelingt, möge man mir dies nachsehen, seine eigenen Fremdsprachenkenntnisse bemühen und mir nur im Notfall eine rügende, aber interessierte E-Mail mit der Bitte um nachträgliche Übersetzung senden.
Die ersten Einträge sind einigen Veranstaltungen gewidmet, denen ich vergangene Woche bei der London Wine Fair beigewohnt habe. Allerdings ohne Fotos. Wofür ich mich nicht nur entschuldige, sondern auch ordentlich selbst in den Hintern beiße (die saßen alle genau vor meiner Nase)!!! Naja, meine technische Kompetenz wächst sozusagen täglich, also gibt’s demnächst mit den neuen Einträgen vermutlich auch Bilder!)
